I’ve had the great privilege of serving as preaching pastor at Trinity since December 2002. My great passion in life is to unfold the truths of Scripture to God’s people in a clearly understandable and practically compelling manner.

I grew up in the heart of dairyland in western Wisconsin. After studying Hebrew and ancient history at the University of Wisconsin and completing my undergraduate studies at the Hebrew University in Jerusalem, Israel, I received a Master of Divinity from Trinity Evangelical Divinity School.

What aspects of ministry do I most enjoy? Counseling, one-on-one discipleship of men, preaching and helping Christians integrate a biblical worldview into the practical aspects of daily life.

I am married to Terri Lynn, my wonderful partner for more than ten years. We have two sons: Carson and Evan. Some of my favorite hobbies include reading history, English literature and biography as well as remodeling our old house and listening to ‘70’s classic rock.
